Snow

Snow as light feathers
These feathers float oh, so gracefully to the ground and other places
Each feather has its own shape and size that is unique
 

Feathers bury mother Earth in a beautiful , white coat
But some feathers disappear into mother Earth
When feathers float onto a bush
Bush is an icing-covered green cupcake
After a while, children come out of warm cozy homes
Which feathers avoid
Children leave marks in piles of whiteness
Some children pick up chunks of snow
Then one child shouts two words
Snowball fight
Snow flies all over the place like comet frenzy
Children make a person-like snow pile
They may lie down in layers of snow and sweep their arm

up and down
Some may pull a sled uphill and slide down
Snow time is fun!
A short time later
Snow disappears, flowers grow
But not for long, snow will come back!
